VORVA RAISED TAXES AND GAVE HIMSELF A 25% RAISE AND INCREASED HIS OFFICE BUDGET 50%

Shortly after taking office, Jerry Vorva and Kurt Heise pushed through the largest tax increase in township history.  However, that was not enough money for them.  Jerry also instituted a 1% tax on collecting our property taxes.  Yes, you read that right, Kurt and Jerry are charging a tax to collect our taxes!

So, what did they do with all of their newfound money?  Well, the first thing that they did was give themselves a 25% raise.  That is right, while families are struggling to pay their bills, Jerry gave himself a 25% raise.

Not only did Jerry give himself a raise, he also expanded the bureaucracy in the clerk’s office.  Since Jerry took office 8 years ago, the Clerk’s budget has increased over 50%.
